Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Android Engineer (Digital Signage & Media Platforms).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Android services and apps for headless and non-touch environments
• Optimize video pipelines for 4K content and implement streaming capabilities
• Develop logic for Remote Device Management and ensure system stability

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on Android development
• Expertise in Kotlin and/or Java with deep knowledge of the Android SDK
• Experience with media playback frameworks such as ExoPlayer or Media3
• Hands-on experience with video streaming protocols like HLS, RTSP, and Multicast
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including sockets and WebSockets
