Job Summary
To build the native Android foundation for Sekai's mobile product, the full-time Senior Android Engineer will focus on core app architecture, product quality, and hybrid integration while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Build and own Sekai's native Android foundation using Kotlin and modern Android architecture
- Design and improve the Android app shell, navigation, and release workflows
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality consumer mobile experiences
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional Android engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Android SDK
- Experience building or owning major parts of a consumer-facing Android app
- Strong understanding of Android architecture and app lifecycle
- Ability to make independent architecture decisions and explain technical tradeoffs
