Senior Android Mobile Engineer

Job Summary

To design and build dynamic, cutting-edge product experiences, the full-time Senior Android Mobile Engineer will collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative applications, ensuring exceptional user experience and performance in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Mobile and engineering team to design and refine Android applications
• Develop complex user interfaces using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, ensuring seamless functionality
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to maintenance

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a mobile engineer with a strong focus on Android development
• Expertise in Kotlin and understanding of Android SDKs and architecture components
• Experience building and maintaining successful consumer-facing mobile apps at scale
• Familiarity with Android UI design principles and best practices
• Experience with BLE, location services, or IoT integrations is a plus
