Senior Android Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Software Apps Engineer (Android) Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers and designers to define, build, and deliver new features in Sports mobile apps
• Build Android apps using Java/Kotlin, including new feature development, architecture, unit tests, and bug fixes
• Participate in app architecture/design reviews, code reviews, performance tuning, and manage build pipelines

Required Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in shipping high-quality Android apps
• Expertise in Java, Kotlin, Android Studio, Gradle, and git
• Knowledge of Android best practices, including Live Data, Jet Pack Compose, Coroutines, and Flows
• Familiarity with Android App architectures such as MVP, MVVM, and MVI
• Strong coding, design skills, and adherence to mobile development best practices
