Senior Android Software Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time Senior Android Software Engineer, the candidate will play a crucial role in advancing the Marriott Bonvoy app by collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement innovative mobile solutions while overseeing mini-projects and providing technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners and technical workgroups to deliver high-impact solutions for the Marriott Bonvoy app
• Oversee mini-projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project scope while leveraging the latest technologies
• Train and mentor team members, identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery processes

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience with expertise in multiple programming languages and methodologies
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Android native application development using Kotlin and Java
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and maintaining scalable applications with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP)
• Technology leadership experience in a feature team environment
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certification
