Senior Android UI Developer

Job Summary

Seeking a versatile and collaborative Senior Android UI Developer for a 6-month remote contract, who will develop and enhance reusable Android UI components, contribute to a cross-platform design system, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement high-quality user experiences.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance reusable Android UI components and libraries using Jetpack Compose and Kotlin
• Collaborate closely with design, product, and engineering teams to implement intuitive, high-quality user experiences
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and engineering best practices for Android development

Required qualifications:

• Extensive experience with Android UI development, themes, styles, and Material Design principles
• Strong experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android architecture patterns
• Experience building, maintaining, and scaling design systems or reusable UI libraries
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, and Android Studio
• Experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines for Android applications
