Senior Animation Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Animation Programmer to join their development efforts on a major game project.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop bespoke animation systems and extensions for Unreal 5 to support character behaviors and interactions
• Create gameplay mechanics related to locomotion and animation while collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Write high-quality C++ code and maintain, debug, and document code effectively

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing game animation systems
• Thorough understanding of animation integration in blend trees and state graphs
• Knowledge of IK systems and their interaction with traditional FK solutions
• Deep knowledge of C++ and advanced math & algorithmic skills
• Advanced knowledge of multithreading practices and character animation stacks
