Senior Animator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Animator to create high-quality motion of computer graphics creatures and objects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the creation of animation for graphics creatures and objects using various software programs
• Execute direction from Lead Animator or Animation Supervisor and supervise entry to mid-level animators
• Train and mentor new Animators while maintaining productivity and meeting deadlines

Required Qualifications

• At least five years of relevant professional VFX experience or seven years without formal education
• Expert knowledge of traditional animation, acting, and film production
• Completion of a minimum of two years as a Mid-Level Animator with recommendations for advancement
• Proficiency with Linux and expert knowledge of Maya and other software programs
• Knowledge of chaining and constraint techniques
