Senior Animator

Job Summary

The full-time Senior Animator will create high-quality character and gameplay animations for an unannounced PvE co-op action game, working remotely and independently to enhance character performance and gameplay feel while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create high-quality character, gameplay, and combat animation
• Own animation from rigging and implementation through final polish, ensuring smooth integration with other assets
• Identify technical challenges and improve workflows, leveraging AI-assisted tools when beneficial

Required qualifications

• A portfolio demonstrating exceptional animation work
• Strong understanding of character performance, facial expressions, and gameplay readability
• Proficient rigging skills and experience implementing animation content in Unreal Engine
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote, asynchronous environment
• Comfort discussing technical and creative tradeoffs with various stakeholders
