Senior Ansible Automation Engineer
Job Summary
To support a large-scale enterprise infrastructure automation initiative, the remote Senior Ansible Automation Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using Ansible, Python, and other modern technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an 18-month contract role.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise automation solutions using Ansible Playbooks, Roles, Modules, and Workflows
- Build scalable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate infrastructure provisioning and operational processes
- Develop advanced automation using Python, Bash, and PowerShell to streamline complex operational tasks
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise automation, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or software development
- Expert-level experience with Ansible Automation Platform, including Playbooks, Roles, Modules, and Workflows
- Strong programming and scripting experience with Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell
- Experience developing REST APIs using FastAPI or Flask
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
