Senior Anti-Cheat Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Anti-Cheat Engineer for Apex Legends, this hybrid role will manage the protection of competitive integrity for millions of players by reverse engineering exploits, developing mitigations, and hardening game systems against attacks.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement anti-tamper, detection, and prevention systems within the game codebase
• Identify and close attack surfaces across the full stack, including game client and dedicated servers
• Drive security architecture decisions and mentor other engineers on secure coding practices

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in C++ or other low-level languages
• 3+ years of experience in software security, anti-cheat development, or reverse engineering
• Strong understanding of x86-64 disassembly and debugging tools
• Experience mitigating vulnerability classes such as buffer overflows and injection attacks
• Deep familiarity with Windows internals and client/server networking architectures
