Job Summary
Designing scalable API automation solutions, the full-time Senior API Automation Engineer will develop and maintain frameworks using Java and related technologies while working remotely to support quality software delivery in cloud-native applications.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable API automation frameworks for microservices-based applications
- Automate REST API validation across various testing scenarios and integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines
- Apply AI tools for test generation and intelligent validation, ensuring high-quality software delivery
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in quality engineering, test automation, or software testing with a focus on API automation
- Advanced experience in developing API automation frameworks using Java, Rest Assured, TestNG, Maven, and Postman
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices testing, and API contract validation
- Experience with AWS-based applications and services, including API Gateway and Lambda
- Hands-on experience using AI agents or generative AI tools in testing workflows
