Senior API Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and implementation of integration solutions, the full-time Senior API Cloud Engineer will architect resilient APIs and cloud services using AWS technologies while ensuring security and operational excellence in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-grade REST APIs, WebSocket connections, and Webhook patterns for seamless integration
• Build and maintain integration services utilizing AWS API Gateway, Lambda, and other AWS services to support real-time data propagation
• Establish comprehensive monitoring and alerting for integration endpoints using AWS CloudWatch and Datadog

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 7+ years of professional software or cloud engineering experience, including 3+ years focused on API development and AWS services
• Deep expertise in designing and delivering RESTful APIs and WebSocket-based communication patterns
• Strong Terraform skills for infrastructure as code and CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps
• Proficiency in implementing OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect for authentication and authorization
