Senior API Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and implementation of integration solutions, the full-time Senior API Cloud Engineer will architect resilient APIs and integration patterns using AWS services while ensuring security and operational excellence in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-grade REST APIs, WebSocket connections, and Webhook patterns for reliable connectivity
• Build and maintain integration services using AWS tools such as API Gateway, Lambda, and Step Functions
• Establish monitoring and alerting for integration endpoints using AWS CloudWatch and Datadog

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of software or cloud engineering experience, with 3+ years focused on API development and AWS services
• Deep expertise in designing and delivering RESTful APIs and WebSocket-based communication
• Strong skills in Terraform for infrastructure as code and CI/CD practices with Azure DevOps
• Proficiency with AWS services including API Gateway, Lambda, and CloudWatch, among others
