Senior API Developer

Job Summary

To enhance internal applications, the full-time Senior API Developer will design and implement RESTful, SOAP, or GraphQL services while working remotely and integrating third-party services and databases.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful, SOAP, or GraphQL services following industry best practices and API-first principles
• Integrate third-party services and databases to enhance internal application capabilities
• Implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms to protect sensitive endpoint data

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• 5+ years of API development experience, including at least 2+ years at a senior level
• Proficiency in backend languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#
• Strong understanding of web protocols and architectural styles, specifically REST, GraphQL, and SOAP
• Experience querying and managing both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
