Senior API Engineer

Job Summary

Experienced API Engineers will find a remote contract opportunity as a Senior API Engineer, focusing on UI/API integration and management, with significant expertise in Azure APIM, Redis Cache, and Apache Ranger.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee API integration and management processes, ensuring seamless functionality
• Utilize Azure APIM to enhance API performance and security
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize caching solutions using Redis

Required qualifications

• 8 years of experience as an API Engineer, with at least 3-5 years focused on Azure APIM
• 3 years of experience with Redis Cache
• 5 years of experience with Apache Ranger
• Familiarity with ADLS Gen2, Data bricks, Postgres, and Starburst is a plus
• Experience in designing RBAC systems
