Senior API Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Senior API Platform Engineer with expertise in Apigee X and Apigee Hybrid, this full-time position will lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable API management solutions while mentoring junior team members and supporting pre-sales efforts.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the technical implementation across the software development lifecycle, including estimation, design, implementation, testing, and support
- Serve as a technical lead and mentor, providing expertise in the development and continual improvement of API management solutions
- Develop Proof-of-Concept and Proof-of-Value artifacts to validate new architectures and solutions
Required qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in architecting API solutions
- Minimum 2 years' hands-on experience with Apigee solutions
- Deep experience with Apigee X and Hybrid
- GCP experience is a must, with additional hyperscaler experience desired
- Advanced understanding of API management concepts and experience developing API strategies and governance
