Senior Appeals Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Appeals Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor workflow trends and communicate with management regarding denials and appeals
• Compile and prepare reports using Enterprise Task Manager and Informatics Reporting System
• Train new employees and assist the team in meeting monthly metrics and goals

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of medical billing experience with a focus on research and claim denials
• Thorough knowledge of physician billing policies and procedures
• General knowledge of ICD and CPT coding
• Computer literate with a working knowledge of Excel
