Senior Appeals Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Appeals Representative responsible for monitoring workflow trends and supporting the denials and appeals process.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze rejection reports to identify problematic areas and ensure proper invoice processing
• Provide training and quality assurance for new employees while assisting the team in meeting monthly metrics and goals
• Communicate progress on projects and assignments to management and assist with special projects as needed

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of medical billing experience with a focus on research and claim denials
• Thorough knowledge of physician billing policies and procedures
• General knowledge of ICD and CPT coding
• Computer literate with a working knowledge of Excel
