Senior Appeals Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Appeals Representative responsible for monitoring workflow trends and supporting the team in handling denials and appeals.

Key Responsibilities

• Review reports for open and pended invoices, ensuring proper handling of denials and appeals
• Train new employees and monitor their performance, providing quality assurance feedback
• Communicate project progress and assist with special projects as directed by management

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in medical billing with a focus on research and claim denials
• Thorough knowledge of physician billing policies and procedures
• General knowledge of ICD and CPT coding
• Proficient in computer use, particularly Excel
