Senior Appeals Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Appeals Representative responsible for monitoring workflow trends and supporting the appeals process.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze rejection reports to identify problematic areas and ensure proper invoice processing
• Assist in training new employees and monitor their production and quality assurance
• Communicate project progress and assist with special projects as directed by management

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of medical billing experience, focusing on research and claim denials
• Thorough knowledge of physician billing policies and procedures
• General knowledge of ICD and CPT coding
• Computer literate with a working knowledge of Excel
