Senior Appeals Representative

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Senior Appeals Representative will monitor workflow trends, compile reports, and assist in training while working remotely in a leadership capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyze rejection reports to identify problematic areas and ensure proper handling of invoices
• Assist the team in meeting monthly metrics and goals while preparing quality assurance reports for team members
• Train new employees and communicate with management regarding project progress and any procedural updates from insurance carriers

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in medical billing with a focus on research and claim denials
• Thorough knowledge of physician billing policies and procedures
• General knowledge of ICD and CPT coding
• Proficient in Excel and able to work in a fast-paced environment
