Senior Appeals Representative

Job Summary

To support the appeals process, the full-time salaried Senior Appeals Representative will monitor workflow trends, compile reports, and provide leadership to the assigned team while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyze rejection reports to identify problematic areas and ensure proper invoice processing
• Train new employees and prepare quality assurance reports while communicating performance feedback to team members
• Collaborate with management on project progress and assist with special projects as directed

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of medical billing experience with a focus on research and claim denials
• Thorough knowledge of physician billing policies and procedures
• General knowledge of ICD and CPT coding
• Proficient in Excel and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
