Senior Appian Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Certified Appian Developer to support the development and maintenance of a mission-critical federal government solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical planning and requirements gathering phases including estimation, development, testing, and project management
• Evaluate user requests for business process automation using Appian BPM models to determine feasibility and technical requirements
• Implement key workflows within the federal labor program's case management system, integrating with systems like Kafka and third-party APIs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five years of experience using Agile methodologies to support major IT systems
• Appian Senior Developer certification
• Experience supporting foreign labor case management systems with public-facing web interfaces is preferred
• Appian development experience, particularly in building workflow solutions for federal labor/immigration systems
• Experience integrating Appian with external systems, such as Kafka and third-party APIs
