Senior Appian Developer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Appian Developer will design and implement features on the Appian low-code platform, collaborating with a team in an Agile environment to enhance customer applications and mentor junior developers.

Key responsibilities

• Envision, design, and implement new features based on the prioritized product backlog using the Appian platform
• Collaborate with functional and testing teams to ensure developed solutions meet end-user needs and conduct unit testing
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including User Story grooming, Sprint Planning, and retrospectives, while delivering presentations during Sprint demos

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or other IT-related degree
• U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust security clearance
• At least 6 years of experience in designing and implementing solutions using Appian
• Strong development and debugging skills in Appian, with experience in recent Appian versions (18.x or later)
• Understanding of data concepts, including SQL and databases, as well as business workflows
