Senior Application Developer

Job Summary

Collaborating within a small team, the full-time Senior Application Developer will mentor fellow developers, oversee the development of custom business applications, and ensure adherence to coding processes while working closely with business stakeholders and IT management.

Key responsibilities:

• Mentor developers on best practices, troubleshooting, and documentation
• Develop large-scale enterprise solutions and oversee the creation of design documents
• Research and propose new technologies to enhance development processes

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
• 7 - 10 years of related experience
• Extensive knowledge of the IBM iSeries platform, including RPG and SQLRPG
• Experience with data conversions to IBM i from various formats
• Familiarity with change management tools like Turnover for source control
