Senior Application Developer

Job Summary

Supporting a large-scale application migration from a legacy system, the contract Senior Application Developer will work remotely to develop, code, and deploy enhancements and new applications within the Manufacturing Execution and Quality control space.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret existing PowerBuilder code to convert it into PL/SQL-based solutions
• Develop, code, integrate, test, and debug software applications while supporting the end-to-end migration process
• Collaborate with UX/UI resources for front-end framework development and create documentation for software maintenance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or at least seven years of experience in application development
• 4-6+ years of experience in software development, particularly in application development engineering
• Deep expertise in PL/SQL, Oracle, and Apex development
• Familiarity with software development tools such as Git or Jenkins
• Understanding of software testing, quality assurance, and automated testing tools
