Senior Application Developer

Job Summary

Delivering ongoing support and infrastructure enhancements, the remote Senior Application Developer will focus on Java and ReactJS development, providing operational maintenance and implementing updates for the IRS CAS program.

Key responsibilities

• Provide ongoing PBBA O&M support, including legislative updates, defect correction, and end-user issue resolution
• Execute infrastructure currency packages, implementing SSO integration and upgrading dependencies within approved milestones
• Update documentation and operational procedures following approved changes and produce required deliverables

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience developing Java applications in a federal production environment
• Experience with ReactJS or a comparable front-end framework
• Knowledge of OpenShift or Kubernetes for containerization of Java applications
• Experience with SSO integration, including SAML and OAuth2
• Familiarity with federal IT change management and FISMA compliance
