Senior Application Developer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Application Developer will support and maintain existing applications, develop new solutions, and collaborate with various service teams to enhance IT services for student affairs.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and modernize complex applications and data integrations while addressing evolving business requirements
• Research and recommend innovations in technical architecture to improve application efficiency, reliability, and security
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and infrastructure staff to troubleshoot technical issues and enhance application functionality

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in an enterprise-grade custom development environment with knowledge of the full software development lifecycle
• Proficiency in server-side and client-side programming languages, particularly TypeScript and Node.js
• Experience with modern frameworks such as Angular and Express or Nest.js
• Ability to independently learn and apply new tools, frameworks, and technologies effectively
