Senior Application Developer
Job Summary
To support the United States Coast Guard, the remote Senior Application Developer will design, develop, and maintain enterprise web and desktop applications while collaborating within an Agile team to translate client requirements into secure and maintainable solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications and services across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Contribute to technical design decisions and architecture discussions while gathering and documenting client requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects and performance issues across production and pre-production environments
Required qualifications:
- Professional experience with a modern frontend framework such as Angular, React, or Vue
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Node.js development experience with a solid understanding of RESTful API design
- Experience using an ORM for database access, preferably TypeORM
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
