Senior Application Development Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Application Development Engineer to support cybersecurity efforts for DHS USCIS systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, development, and deployment of secure, scalable web applications and services
• Maintain and optimize existing applications by troubleshooting defects and ensuring reliability
• Integrate cybersecurity principles into application architectures and automate security operations

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise-level applications using Ruby on Rails
• 5+ years of experience in PostgreSQL environments with knowledge of complex queries and optimization
• Extensive experience with full-stack testing using RSpec and Capybara
• Proficient in REST API architecture and AWS Security
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering, or a comparable field
