Senior Application Development Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance health outcomes for 28 million members, the full-time Senior Application Development Engineer will design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement software solutions and process flows in adherence to standards and best practices
• Collaborate with Application Solution Architects and IS Business Analysts to ensure effective application designs
• Participate in tier 3 application support, including incident management and application upgrades

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 4 years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in developing software modules using the Pega platform and integrating with MongoDB, GoLang, and Java services
• Experience in evaluating and improving code quality and maintaining unit testing standards
• Familiarity with Low Code Technologies, including Pega and Salesforce
• Knowledge of Pega structures such as Smart PLM and Pega BIX
