Senior Application Development Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Application Development Engineer will lead collaboration with business and technology stakeholders to translate high-level requirements into functional and non-functional technical specifications, ensuring the successful development of solutions that meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Gathers and validates business and technology requirements to define project scope and impact
• Translates user requirements into clear functional specifications for developers and project teams
• Plans and coordinates user acceptance testing (UAT) while tracking the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field such as statistics, mathematics, engineering, or computer science
• 5 - 7 years of related experience in application development or a similar role
• Experience with data processing and knowledge of healthcare payer business functions
• Familiarity with Agile Software Development and Software Development Life Cycle
• Demonstrated project management skills and technical aptitude
