Senior Application Development Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Application Development Engineer will gather and validate business requirements, translate user needs into functional specifications, and manage project lifecycles to ensure effective application development for an enterprise healthcare client.

Key responsibilities

• Gathers and validates business and technology requirements to define project scope and metrics
• Translates user requirements into functional specifications and creates systems models for the development team
• Plans and coordinates user acceptance testing (UAT) while monitoring IT service levels as per SLAs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Experience in requirement gathering and analysis within an application development context
• Proficiency in creating technical documentation and user manuals
• Ability to manage project lifecycles and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Familiarity with user acceptance testing processes and service-level agreements
