Senior Application Development Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Application Development Engineer will gather and validate business requirements, translate user needs into functional specifications, and manage project requirements throughout the lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Gathers and validates business and technology requirements to define project scope and impact
• Translates conceptual user requirements into clear functional requirements for developers and project teams
• Plans and coordinates user acceptance testing (UAT) while monitoring IT service levels as specified in SLAs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Experience in requirements gathering and analysis
• Ability to create systems and business process models
• Familiarity with user documentation and help desk support
• Knowledge of project lifecycle management and user acceptance testing
