Senior Application Development Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Application Development Engineer will gather and validate business and technology requirements, translate user needs into functional specifications, and manage project lifecycles to ensure effective application development for an enterprise healthcare client.

Key responsibilities

• Gathers and validates business and technology requirements to define project scope and impact
• Translates conceptual user requirements into clear functional specifications for developers and project teams
• Plans and coordinates user acceptance testing (UAT) while monitoring IT service levels as specified in SLAs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Experience in requirement gathering and analysis for application development
• Ability to create systems and business process models, specifications, and documentation
• Proficiency in managing project lifecycles and tracking requirement statuses
• Familiarity with user acceptance testing processes and IT service level agreements
