Senior Application Engineer

Job Summary

To support population health and data-driven clinical operations, the full-time remote Senior Application Engineer will develop and optimize ETL pipelines, design scalable data structures, and support analytics for healthcare leaders using tools like Epic Caboodle, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines and star-schema data structures
• Create user-facing BI assets and collaborate with healthcare leaders to develop actionable metrics
• Participate in system upgrades and provide technical guidance to BI developers and analysts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field plus 8 years of IT experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2+ years as an Application Engineer/Developer using SQL Server SSIS
• Experience with ETL development, dimensional modeling, and technical documentation
• 3+ years of experience working in relational databases
• Epic Caboodle Developer proficiency or certification within 6 months of hire
