Senior Application Packaging Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting the enterprise application packaging and delivery ecosystem, the contract-to-hire Senior Application Packaging Engineer will execute creation, testing, and maintenance of application packages while working remotely across U.S. time zones.
Key responsibilities
- Execute the creation, testing, maintenance, and quality review of application packages using MSI, Win32, MSIX, and script-based deployment methods
- Coordinate enterprise application deployments, release schedules, and validation activities using Intune and endpoint management platforms
- Own application lifecycle management including inventory, version control, patching, and updates
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in application packaging, endpoint engineering, or systems engineering environments
- Expert-level experience with Microsoft Intune and strong experience in enterprise application packaging and deployment
- Hands-on expertise with MSI, Win32, MSIX, and PowerShell scripting
- Experience with Patch My PC or comparable third-party patching solutions
- Preferred: Experience with Autopilot, Entra ID, Microsoft Graph API, or Cloud VDI environments
