Senior Application Programmer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Application Programmer (Remote Eligible).
Key Responsibilities
- Provides advanced support for defining and refining business requirements and quality assurance/acceptance testing
- Designs, develops, tests, and debugs software components of moderate to high complexity
- Manages implementation, production, and upgrade support for software components of moderate to high complexity
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical/business area plus 4 years of IT or business experience, or 6 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree
- Advanced understanding of Computer Science principles, programming languages/tools, and debugging techniques
- Advanced capability to analyze information and determine software design requirements
- Experience with writing complex queries and using advanced PL/SQL concepts
- Experience in healthcare (Health Plan) domain preferred
