Senior Application Programmer

Job Summary

Focused on modernizing the NOC Portal, the full-time Senior Application Programmer will develop and maintain applications using JavaScript/TypeScript for the front end and Python for the back end, while also managing existing PHP components.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the architecture, development, and maintenance of NOC Portal systems, ensuring high-quality code delivery
• Troubleshoot and upgrade existing software, identifying areas for system improvement and implementing modifications
• Apply agile practices to maximize business value and enhance customer outcomes through continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• Strong full-stack web development experience with proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and PHP
• College degree in a technical field or at least 8 years of relevant work experience in a structured development environment
• Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment, including familiarity with agile practices and tools
• Proficient in writing and debugging shell scripts for automation and ETL processes
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, cloud services, and database management, particularly with MySQL/MariaDB
