Senior Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Application Security Engineer to join their AppSec team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct offensive assessments, including manual penetration testing and adversarial reviews
• Lead threat modeling and secure design reviews, mentoring engineers on security practices
• Manage and enhance the AppSec tooling stack, ensuring effective security automation and integration

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in application security or related fields
• Strong offensive security skills with the ability to exploit web and API vulnerabilities
• Experience in building and operating security tooling within modern engineering environments
• Production experience with AWS, containerized workloads, and infrastructure-as-code
• Proficiency in at least one programming language common to modern web stacks
