Senior Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Application Security Engineer to identify and mitigate application and product security risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments, including code reviews and penetration testing, to identify vulnerabilities
• Develop and implement security policies and collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle
• Lead investigation and response efforts for application-level security incidents and prepare regular security reports for management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in application security or software development
• Strong knowledge of secure coding practices and web application security
• Experience with common web application vulnerabilities and remediation techniques
• Familiarity with security testing tools such as Burp Suite and OWASP ZAP
