Senior Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Application Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual penetration testing and security assessments on web applications to identify vulnerabilities
• Manage results from SAST, DAST, and SCA tools to prioritize critical risks
• Conduct security code reviews of Node.js applications and develop automation scripts in Python

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Application Security, Pentesting, or Security Engineering
• Expert knowledge of the OWASP Top 10 and common web attack vectors
• Proficiency in reading and auditing Node.js code
• Experience with security testing tools like Burp Suite Professional and OWASP ZAP
• Ability to explain complex security concepts to non-security stakeholders
