Senior Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Application Security Engineer responsible for ensuring the security of business applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply secure coding practices and ensure compliance while coordinating with development teams on security issues
• Onboard applications into the web application firewall and provide training on secure coding practices
• Perform ongoing application security reviews and assist in responses to audits and vulnerability assessments

Required Qualifications

• BS degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
• Experience with agile development methodologies and application security platforms like Veracode and Burp Suite
• Hands-on experience in vulnerability management and securing APIs
• Active involvement with OWASP, NIST, and SANS practices
• Demonstrated project management skills and ability to track progress against established milestones
