Senior Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Application Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end security of applications, including design, threat modeling, and deployment
• Secure the dependency supply chain while collaborating with engineering teams
• Develop internal automation for detecting and blocking abuse patterns and streamline security workflows

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in application security with a focus on coding and code review
• Proficiency in multiple major coding languages, preferably including Javascript/Typescript
• Experience securing cloud environments, particularly GCP, and understanding Kubernetes security
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management systems and data protection
• A pragmatic approach to balancing security risks with business velocity
