Senior Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Application Security Engineer to ensure the security of its products while collaborating with engineering teams and external parties.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in security code and system reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments
• Support the Bug Bounty program by triaging, prioritizing, and fixing security issues
• Collaborate with infrastructure security to enhance overall security posture

Required Qualifications

• Deep understanding of common security flaws in web and mobile app environments
• Experience with security code reviews and identifying security issues
• Familiarity with common security tools and services, such as SAST tools
• Experience securing mobile SDKs (iOS/Android) and backend services (Python) is highly valued
• Awareness of new AI security risks and the ability to build safer guardrails
