Senior Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Application Security Engineer who will focus on maintaining application security and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and application teams to ensure a strong security posture for applications
• Remediate application security flaws and lead security discussions to implement best practices
• Conduct dynamic and static application testing, including threat modeling and using security tools

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field
• 6+ years of Information Technology experience, with 3+ years in application security testing
• Experience with Burp Suite for DAST and Veracode for SAST
• Proficiency in Java, Python, .NET, or C# with 2+ years of experience
• Familiarity with federal compliance standards such as NIST 800-53 or FedRAMP
