Senior Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a talented Senior Application Security Engineer for a full-time remote position, responsible for ensuring application security throughout the development lifecycle, integrating security best practices, and collaborating with engineering teams to mitigate vulnerabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) with development and DevOps teams
• Identify, assess, and mitigate security vulnerabilities in applications and cloud environments
• Implement and maintain security controls in AWS, including IAM policies and monitoring

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in application security or a related role
• Strong experience with AWS security services and best practices
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go)
• AWS Certified Security - Specialty or similar certification
