Senior Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

Driving application security initiatives, the full-time Senior Application Security Engineer will enhance the secure software development lifecycle, perform application security reviews, and manage vulnerability remediation in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and improve the secure software development lifecycle, including application security reviews and threat modeling
• Drive vulnerability management and perform hands-on remediation for identified security issues
• Configure and enhance AppSec tooling and automation, integrating AI to improve security processes

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering or application security experience in modern SaaS environments
• Strong software development skills, with proficiency in Ruby and familiarity with Python
• Deep understanding of common application security issues and vulnerability management
• Experience in performing code reviews, penetration testing, and exploit validation
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools and securing AI-powered systems or features
