Senior Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a rapidly growing Security Engineering team, the full-time Senior Application Security Engineer will conduct application security reviews, manage vulnerability assessments, and enhance AI security practices while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct application security reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments for new features across the product
• Perform and enhance SAST/DAST operations, managing vulnerability backlogs and remediation tracking
• Apply and improve AI security review processes for LLM-integrated features and conduct penetration testing on web and API surfaces

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in security engineering with expertise in Application and AI security, including threat modeling and vulnerability management
• Proficiency in Python and a strong understanding of web application security principles
• Hands-on experience with application security tools such as Semgrep and Burp Suite
• Familiarity with AI/ML security risks, including prompt injection and model abuse
• Transformative AI fluency with active use of AI tools to enhance security processes
